With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I graduated in 2022 with a focus on understanding human behavior and development. While I didn’t always know that I wanted to work with children, joining the team at The Nesting Nook helped me discover a true passion for early childhood education. I’m dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.

Hello, My name is Maddie! I’ve been working in childcare since 2019 when I graduated from Sheridan College, I’ve been at the Nesting Nook since September 2025.

I absolutely love my job, getting to be apart of your child’s journey and watching them learn and grow is such an amazing thing that I get to do each day! My favourite things in my classroom are Circle time (I love how kids don’t judge your singing skills ahahah) arts and craft (messier the better!) and building small world play stations for children to learn and explore!

When I’m not spending my day teaching and planning I like to read, sew and embroider, buy more plants and of course relax and watch all the tv shows and movies!
